BEX call for papers now open

Brownfield Expo (BEX) organiser, Faversham House Group, has opened the call for papers for the 2011 conference and seminar programme.

BEX, the UK’s largest event for remediation and contaminated land solutions, will be holding a 3 day technical programme which provides visitors with up-to-date industry news and developments, legislation issues and industry practices.

With the lack of available green spaces for development and the Government’s commitment to bring more land into sustainable use, the time is perfect for you to showcase your company’s credentials at this established event.

The programme will be tailored to focus on the areas of remediation and contaminated land solutions that are market driven through industry research. Although interested in hearing about a wide range of topics, the Sustainabilitylive! team would particularly like to receive papers based on the following: legislation, spill control and land clean up, liability and risk assessment, soil washing, asbestos clean up, new technologies possibly including pyrolysis, land regeneration, transitional land and remediated land as an asset to the community and local businesses.

For entry into the 2011 seminar programme; papers should be submitted by Friday 5th November 2010 via www.sustainabilitylive.com/callforpapers. Or for more information contact Antonia Webster, Marketing Executive, on 020 8651 7069 or at antonia.webster@fav-house.com.

BEX, the UK’s national event for contaminated land and remediation issues, is a part of Sustainabilitylive! which takes place on 24-26 May 2011 at the NEC Birmingham. Tackling the issues facing organisations today, the event will feature hundreds of exhibitors, an extensive seminar and conference programme, master classes, key industry experts and innovative ideas.
