Expert Advise on Waste Water Treatment and Waste Management

More than 200 exhibitors from the water, waste and environmental sectors provide free expert advise to professionals at the Irish Water Waste & Environment (IWWE) and the Irish Recycling & Waste Management (IRWM) exhibition on 7-8 March at the RDS in Dublin.

Established companies from the water sector display a wide range of products and services at IWWE, including water metering, analysis, pumps and valves and water storage as well as emission control equipment and environmental compliance consulting.

Exhibiting companies at IWWE include well-known specialists like Sensus Metering Systems, PCP Group and KSB Ltd with many exhibitors running live demonstrations of their products on their stand. IRWM features an outside Kit Display Area for the first time, allowing visitors to see large machinery live in action. Companies who have booked an outside space include Ace Compaction, Hammel (UK) Ltd, Hydrex Equipment (UK) Ltd, JCB, MT Waste Management & Manufacturing Ltd, R.D. Mechanical Services and Stertil UK.

Amongst the exhibitors of IRWM is Alphyra Group Ltd, who as Europe’s largest cash acceptance network offers a solution for the payment of waste in the retail channel. Alphyra deliver leading edge payments services and design solutions that specially meet the needs of waste management companies.

Sessions on the latest developments in legislation and technology in the water, waste and energy sectors help visitors to keep up-to-date with the industry and save money for their company. Sessions provided include solutions-based seminars run by exhibitors, free CPD seminars on recycling & waste management run by CIWM Ireland, a free two day Water Conference run by esai and SWIG and a free full-day seminar on the latest developments in Waste to Energy run by Sustainable Energy Ireland.

A highlight of IWWE & IRWM is the Talkback Debate on Thursday 8 March with the topic Waste, Water, Energy, Environment; issues, policies, solutions - A Talkback Debate chaired by John Bowman, where visitors get the chance to post their questions to a high-profile panel of speakers. Confirmed panellists of the Talkback Debate are Erik O'Donovan, Director of the Irish Waste Management Association, Ciaran Cuffe, TD, Spokesman for the Environment of the Green Party, Dr John Ryan, Commercial Director of Certification Europe and Noel Casserly, Director of Comhar - Sustainable Development Council. The Debate commences at 11am and will follow the format of the well-known “Question & Answers” Debates on RTF.
