DOUBLE FIRST FOR HEVAR SHOWS

The Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne, Councillor David Slesenger and Lady Mayoress Councillor Jackie Slesenger will open the City’s first HEVAR exhibition at Newcastle Race Course.

In fact, there are two firsts.

This is the first HEVAR show for the City and it is the first time that a Lord Mayor has opened a HEVAR exhibition.

Over two days more than 50 manufacturers of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment will be setting out their stalls for mechanical and electrical contractors, local authority specifiers and engineers who live and work in the North East.

Councillor Slesenger will be the first to welcome the manufacturers when the exhibition opens on Wednesday 29 March at 9.30am.

“The HEVAR shows bring national companies to the region enabling busy heating, ventilating and air conditioning professionals to view an entire cross section of the industry all under one roof,” said Liz White, Exhibition Organiser for the HEVAR shows. “This will give building services specifiers a great opportunity to meet and form business links with top UK manufacturers,” Liz added.

Alongside the exhibition will be a series of free seminars covering current legislation and developments in technology.

“And don’t forget, those who attend the exhibition will receive a voucher for a free meal or a drink and for CIBSE members, just visiting the show will contribute to their annual CPD requirement.”

Newcastle is the latest addition to the HEVAR series of regional exhibitions. Other venues are London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham.

Dates: Wednesday 29 March (9.30-18.30) Thursday 30 March (9.30-15.30)

Venue: Newcastle Race Course, High Gosforth Park
