UK’s Largest Ever Environmental, Energy and Contaminated Land Event – May 16-18 2006.
This year sees the return of three key environment and energy exhibitions and conferences to the NEC in Birmingham.
With growing demands on UK business to be more energy efficient and environmentally responsible, finding a single source of information that’s both relevant and valuable has never been more important. Three major events, running alongside each other, ensure that all businesspeople can keep up to date with technology developments, forthcoming legislation and environmental and energy business drivers.
ET 2006 (www.et-expo.co.uk)
ET is the UK’s largest environmental technology and management services exhibition, making it the ultimate one-stop shop for every environmental professional in the UK seeking to upgrade, install and maintain the products and services that manage their impact on the environment.
ET is nationally recognised by exhibitors and visitors alike. More than just an exhibition where the latest innovations in technologies and services are presented, ET offers the opportunity to source free advice from key government bodies and institutions as well as information on topical environmental issues, ranging from legislation to best practice. 2006 sees the introduction of the prestigious ET Environmental Manager of the Year award.

ICU 2006 (www.international-cleanup.com)
ICU is the UK’s only contaminated land exhibition and conference. It provides a unique platform for the industry to showcase innovations, meet suppliers, buy and network, while also attending seminars and conferences dedicated to the latest hot contaminated land issues.
ICU serves the growing market sector that covers the assessment and remediation of contaminated land, pollution, clean up and emergency response. The impact of the Landfill Directive, coupled with the Government’s pledge to build much of the new housing stock on brownfield sites, make contaminated land a key issue for developers, land owners and consultants, as well as suppliers of remediation technologies. This year’s ICU will provide senior industry figures, as well as academia and government bodies, with the opportunity to source solutions, gain advice and see new products and services.

NEMEX 2006 (www.nemex-energy.co.uk)
NEMEX, the National Energy Management Exhibition, is firmly established as the UK’s main event in the energy management sector. NEMEX includes a high level conference, as well as seminar sessions designed to educate and advise on a variety of energy management issues. Following on from the success of “the Road to Renewables” in 2005, Nemex 2006 will also see the launch of Nemex Renewables.
Government legislation continues to demand that businesses demonstrate an environmentally conscious approach to energy management. NEMEX presents the best way to keep up to speed with changes in regulations while showcasing the newest technology, information and advice that will improve energy efficiency, production quality and ultimately, the bottom line, all under one roof.
