Major names sign up for Screenprint 2005
Screenprint, the UK's dedicated event for the screenprint industry, has already attracted many leading name exhibitors. SunChemical Screen, Durst, Unitex, Alcan, Trumax, OYO Instruments, G.Bopp and Vutek are just some of the companies taking part in the 2005 exhibition, which will take place from 12-14 April at the NEC in Birmingham.
The acquisition of Screenprint by Faversham House Group in December 2003 brought the show into the company's hugely successful portfolio of exhibitions which includes Sign UK, Digital Expo and Outdoor Media. In 2005, Screenprint will run alongside these shows to form the largest and most influential visual communications event in the UK.
Sign UK's reputation is second to none and the 2004 event was voted the most successful ever. Visitors to the show came from every corner of the sign-making sector, as well as from major end-user organisations such as Specsavers, Cadbury Trebor Bassett, Marks & Spencer, Ikea, Coca Cola and McDonalds. Exhibiting companies in 2005 include B&P Lightbrigade, Hybrid, Grafityp, Agfa, Hewlett Packard, Graphtec, Fairfield Displays & Lighting and Andersons.
Sister event Digital Expo, now in its third successful year, provided visitors with an unparalleled opportunity to see and discuss the very latest in digital print technology with the industry's leading suppliers. Many top-name brands chose the event to source their digital print requirements including HSBC, John Lewis, Legoland, Waitrose and fashion outlet French Connection. Confirmed exhibitors for 2005 include Sericol, Roland DG, Metamark, Lyson, Zund, Flex Europa and Vivid Presentation Solutions.
On its first outing the Outdoor Media event provided not only information but also inspiration for visitors from the outdoor visual communications sector. Representatives from the cream of the country's leading outdoor media companies attended the event such as Maiden, JCDecaux, Clear Channel, Adbus and Adshel.
Event Director Catherine Iredale is delighted with the level of bookings for the 2005 shows. "With still over six months to go we already have a group of exhibitions that any organiser would be proud to open. The feedback from the marketplace to the co-location of Screenprint alongside Sign UK, Digital Expo and Outdoor Media has been tremendous, and we are looking forward to announcing the addition of many more major-name exhibitors in the very near future.
Chris Whitmarsh, Commercial Manager of SunChemical Screen is equally enthusiastic about next year's shows. "2005 sees the coming together of Sign UK, Digital Expo and Outdoor Media with Screenprint. Well done Faversham House Group - it appears that you have listened to the market and have co-located Screenprint with your already successful portfolio. We've booked our stand already and look forward to an even more expansive audience at next year's extravaganza, where traditional screenprinters can attend a show to see both their market suppliers and suppliers into the digital market."
