Free Adobe seminar programme plans unveiled at Sign Ireland

Details of the free Adobe seminar programme taking place during the Sign Ireland and Digital Expo Ireland exhibitions at the RDS on 10-11 November 2004 have been announced.

All sessions are free, last one hour and take place in the purpose built theatre within the exhibition. Participants can attend as many or as few as they choose. The programme is repeated each day.

The first seminar of the day looks at Adobe Photoshop Album to organise and correct digital images, and shows how users can easily download and use it free of charge on PCs.

The second session shows the latest versions of the industry's favourite applications, with a focus on the new features and the powerful integration, which is a part of the new Adobe Creative Suite.

The following session on Apple OSX explores all the benefits of upgrading from the dependable OS 9 and shows how users can make the most of the changes.

'PDF Š a multimedia solution' looks at ways of going beyond Adobe AcrobatÕs recognised solution for sharing documents between computers and platforms, and takes full advantage of its ability to create fully interactive multi media documents. It will take participants through a projects and teach how using the Creative Suite from Adobe.

Another seminar explores Adobe Illustrator, and how, whatever the job function, users can increase creativity as well as productivity.

The final session promises to change the way users look at retouching. It covers tips and tricks on Adobe Photoshop and the fundamentals of images, using alpha channels and the Calculation function.
