Marketing Executive Environmental Exhibitions - Salary Range £22-25k

An exciting marketing executive position has come up in the exhibitions team due to an internal promotion. Working on our leading environmental exhibition, Sustainabilitylive! this position will provide plenty of challenge and opportunities to expand your marketing experience. With an extensive free seminar programme, more than 350 exhibitors and attracting over 7,000 visitors each year, Sustainabilitylive! is a fast moving and topical show to work on. The Environment and Energy Awards running alongside the show adds to the interest and variety of the marketing task.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least two/three years' experience in marketing B2B exhibitions
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills (copywriting and proof-reading)
- First-rate attention to detail and creative design
- Good organisational, multi-tasking, time management skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to think 'out of the box' and come up with new ideas
- Experience in seminar and conference production an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- Experience of working with external suppliers (e.g. mailing house, designers)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in html and banner design of advantage, but not essential
