Pension scheme

FHG offers a flexible Group Personal Pension Scheme where we match your contribution of 4% to offer a comprehensive package of retirement benefits for members and their dependents. As part of the pension plan, we offer excellent life insurance cover and a free confidential helpline.

Holidays

We feel holidays are important to help individuals give the best to their job and provide the balance of vital relaxation. FHG supports this by giving a generous holiday entitlement which includes 22 days per year, plus three more days over the Christmas period. We recognise and reward the loyalty of our employees and long servers are provided with an extra week off each year.

Company car scheme

FHG offers a company car scheme for certain positions within the company. We ensure that employees who need to use a car on business have available to them an appropriate, well maintained and safe vehicle.

Healthcare scheme

All employees are entitled to free private health insurance for themselves and their dependents. This service includes a confidential and free helpline covering issues ranging from advice on legal matters to help on managing your finances.

Health and safety at work

We take our obligations as an employer extremely seriously. We work hard to minimise and prevent work-related issues and to provide a safe and healthy work environment.

Free eye tests are offered to all employees who regularly use a computer.

Flexible working practices

Where possible we try to accommodate requests for flexible working arrangements such as changes of work hours, part time work, or job share.

Recognition

We regularly celebrate success at FHG. This can be through the pages of our staff newsletter, on the notice boards around our building or through our Chairman's Awards for Excellence. These are presented annually to individuals who have gone that extra mile. Staff members can be nominated by their peers or managers and receive a prestigious trophy.

At our annual FHG Sales Event we celebrate outstanding sales achievements with the winners being presented with cheques or vouchers and a special award.

Recognition comes in many guises and besides the formal awards schemes we encourage our managers to praise achievements and success on a daily basis.
